Meltwater Group announced as Headline Sponsor of this year's PRCA Awards
ANNOUNCEMENT

London, 13 June 2011 - The PRCA is delighted to announce Meltwater Group as the headline sponsor of the PRCA Awards for a second year in a row.
The Oscars of the PR Industry, the PRCA Awards have fast become the highlight of the awards season. Recognising the best that the UK and International PR industry has to offer from both in-house communications teams and PR consultancies, the PRCA Awards reward the talent and impact of individuals, teams and campaigns at a glamorous black tie celebration.
Ashley Botten, UK & Ireland Director for Meltwater News, said: “We are very proud to support the PRCA in what they have established as a flagship event of the PR calendar. The sector is undergoing some rapid transformation, notably through the impact of social media on how brands now engage with their audiences. Undoubtedly the winners will demonstrate high creativity while also seamlessly fusing social media strategies within their PR campaigns. This year's event promises to be a celebration of some truly inspiring work and we look forward to further deepening our relationship with the PRCA, its members and the PR community.”
Francis Ingham, PRCA chief executive, said: “We are thrilled Meltwater are sponsoring our Awards for the second year running. Their support for the industry is fantastic and we are proud to be standing alongside them not only in the courts fighting the new digital license proposed by the NLA but also to celebrate the best that PR has to offer.”
Winning or being shortlisted for a PRCA Award is a fantastic achievement and a great boost for everyone involved.
The closing date for entries is 1 July 2011, with late entries accepted with an administration fee until 15 July.
This year's awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday 15 November 2011 at London's Park Lane Hilton.
