PRESS RELEASE
London, 15 August 2011 – The PRCA is delighted to announce that its Chief Executive, Francis Ingham, has been elected to the LCCI Council.
Commenting on his election, Ingham said:
"Obviously I'm delighted to have won this election to the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council. I've had the greatest of respect for the Chamber ever since I worked with it on policy issues when I was in charge of London policy at the Confederation of British Industry.
There is also a certain continuity here. I convinced the CIPR to join the Chamber when I worked for Colin Farrington, and I then welcomed the Chamber as an in-house PRCA member two years ago. So it's a pleasure to continue the relationship.
As a member of the Chamber’s Council, I'll be speaking up for the value PR brings to organisations and the wider economy, representing one of London’s great success stories before, during and after the recession.
This is just another example of the PRCA leading our industry. It's what we do. And why over the past few years we've become the industry's preeminent voice.”
