Broadgate appointed by the Public Relations Consultants Association

London, 15 July 2008 - Broadgate has been appointed by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) to carry out a six-month online B2B campaign to promote the association's service that helps clients find a PR consultancy.

The free service provided by the PRCA helps organisations choose a public relations consultancy that has achieved the internationally recognised Consultancy Management Standard (CMS).

Broadgate was chosen by the PRCA after a competitive pitch of half a dozen agencies. Broadgate will advise and help the PRCA implement an online campaign to drive more referrals and enquiries to the website.

Wendy Richmond, New Business Manager, PRCA, said: “Broadgate demonstrated an in-depth understanding of what was needed to boost the PRCA's web ranking for a variety of topics as well as clear advice on providing an intuitive route for visitors' navigation around the site.”

Mark Knight, Board Director at Broadgate, welcomed the opportunity to work with the PRCA: “It's great that the PRCA has taken a lead in promoting the importance of online public relations. Their objective is to become the number one online resource for companies seeking advice on how to find a PR consultancy.”

Sarah Evans-Toyne, Head of Digital at Broadgate, said there were many opportunities for British organisations who wanted to increase sales and retain customers online.

“The internet is increasingly important for organisations and there are lots of opportunities to innovate, build relationships and promote products and services online and across mobile technologies,” said Sarah.
