Entry Rules

1. All entry forms must

  • supply information about the campaign or activity 
  • follow the submission criteria on the entry form 
  • be submitted online

2. Entries do not have to relate to a specific campaign or project, but can be a component of on-going work. In either case, the entries must prove outstanding performance and results. 

3. Entries must relate to work conducted between June 2007 and August 2008.

4. Pay special attention to demonstrating the planning, monitoring and evaluation of the campaign.

5. Entries that do not abide by the word limits will be penalised.

6. Entries without a reference number will be automatically rejected.

 

How to enter

1. Download the entry forms for the categories you would like to enter from the wesbite. NB - you can submit more than one entry in each category except awards: 14, 15, 16, 18 or 19.

2. The winner of Campaign of the year (award 14) will be chosen from the winners of awards 1-13.

3. Complete all areas of the entry form.

4. To get your reference number, pay for your entry online or email us to request an invoice number. You will be emailed a receipt for your entry which will contain a reference number. Please include this on your entry form.

5. The electronic receipt will also contain an email address to send your entry form to. Please label the email: Reference number, Category, Entrants name, Company (e.g. 04-0007_MediaRel_HollisPR).

6. Send a separate email with a high res photo of the team/individual, your company logo and a high res photo of the campaign. In the subject line of the email use the format: Category, Entrants name, Company IMAGES (e.g. 04-0007_MediaRel_HollisPR_IMAGES)

7. Do not include supporting materials in the email.



Supporting Materials

All important relevant information should be included in your main entry form. Judges will only take supporting materials into account, should two entries be of very similar quality but only one can make it onto the shortlist or win the category.

If you would like to include supporting materials, please send three copies to: Richard Ellis, PRCA, Willow House, Willow Place, London, SW1P 1JH. On the outside of the envelope/box for each of the three copies please write "Supporting materials - [reference number]. NB supporting materials must arrive at Willow House before 16.00 on 24 September.

FrontLine definition

  • Within a PR Consultancy a FrontLiner is anybody upto and including Account Manager or anyone who has been promoted to Account Director since 01/01/2008. 
  • For inhouse organisations, a FrontLiner is anyone less than six years marketing or communications experience.

Confidentiality

Only the PRCA team at Willow House and the judges will be able to view the entries. Judges will have signed confidentiality agreements.


Feedback on entries

Due to the volume of entries, regrettably we will only be able to provide feedback on entries that are shortlisted. Feedback will be available on these entries from 11 November by contacting communications@prca.org.uk.
