PRCA partners with leading motor industry PR group

London, 30 September 2010 - The Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) today announced it is entering into a long-term alliance with MIPAA Limited (Motor Industry Public Affairs Association).

MIPAA will become a PRCA sectoral group, and take a seat on the PR Council, whilst continuing to operate as an independent organisation, retaining financial and operational autonomy.  The 400 MIPAA members (who represent major automotive brands, vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, consultancies and other institutions in the UK and overseas) will be able to access a wide range of PRCA services, and join the PRCA at preferential rates.

Gabi Whitfield, Chairman of MIPAA Limited, and Communications Director, Nissan Motor (GB) Limited, said “MIPAA provides professional support to help ensure specialist motor industry communicators are able to reflect the highest standards.  By partnering with the PRCA, MIPAA members will benefit from outstanding training and networking opportunities to complement the services we already offer."

Francis Ingham, PRCA Chief Executive added "MIPAA has a fantastic reputation and I am delighted to welcome it to the PRCA family as our latest sectoral group. This is a clear win-win for our respective members, and another sign of the PRCA's vibrancy and momentum.'
