PRCA Mount Kilimanjaro Trek 2011 with Chairman's Charity, Leonard Cheshire

Chairman's Charity, Leonard Cheshire Disability, in association with PRCA FrontLine, is offering PRCA members an exclusive opportunity to trek Mount Kilimanjaro and be part of a truly unique experience.

Not only is it a chance to trek one of the world's most magnificent snow capped peaks, but it is a fantastic way for PRCA member organisations to demonstrate their commitment to one of the UK's leading disability charities.

During this 12 day trip, you will trek for 7 days to a height of almost 6000m high, taking in the spectacular scenery of the surrounding African plains. There is no need for technical climbing skills but conquering this mountain is a real test of stamina and fitness as you battle with the effects of altitude to reach the summit.

So whether you're an individual keen to take up a personal challenge, or a PRCA consultancy or in-house communications team looking to motivate staff with a place on this once in a lifetime trek, you won't be disappointed with this challenging and rewarding experience.

What's more, each step taken will be raising vital money for Leonard Cheshire Disability to help give disabled people the opportunity to live life their way.


Securing your place

To take part in this once a life time challenge, employees of member organisations must:

Gain approval from your employer for time off.

  • Get your employer to pay a non-refundable registration fee of just £350 for your place on this exclusive trek.
  • Fundraise a minimum of £4,000.

Next steps to securing your place, you will need to:

  • Pay your £350 non-refundable registration fee, you can do this by calling the Leonard Cheshire Disability events team on 0870 420 4301.

Deadlines:
8th October 2010 - Registration deadline, £350 must be received by this date to reserve a place on the trip.

  • 24th December 2010 - You must have raised a minimum of £2200 by this date to secure a place on the trip.
  • 23rd April 2011 - Leonard Cheshire Disability to have received all money raised.
