The PRCA Diploma

The PRCA Diploma is aimed at senior PR professionals including account directors and above who wish develop higher level skills in areas of financial, commercial, personnel and account management.


By qualifying for the PRCA Diploma practitioners will gain all-round skills to enable effective leadership in a senior PR management role. Practitioners will be well-grounded in the essential areas of finance, people management, developing accounts, winning new business and maximising profits.

Structure
The PRCA Diploma is based on a modular points system, with practitioners required to attain 280 points, gained by completing training modules.  The structure is made up of five sections:

  • Finance Fundamentals
  • Managing People and Processes
  • Managing Money
  • Keeping and Growing Clients
  • Prospecting and Winning New Business

At least one module from each of the five sections must be completed.

Assessment
Practitioners will then be required to undertake a 2000 word essay-based assessment (the subject of this will be submitted to the Qualifications Board for approval) and a presentation about their essay to the Qualifications Board. 

Commencement Date and Completion Length
Practitioners can commence their Diploma Certificate studies at any time, and will have up to two years to complete the training modules, essay-based assessment  and presentation to the Qualifications Board in order to attain The PRCA Diploma Certificate.

Cost
The total cost of The PRCA Diploma Certificate is £1800 + vat.
