PRCA to hold PR careers day at Manchester Metropolitan University
London, 14 January - The Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) is offering students a chance to gain PR guidance and networking opportunities at a careers day at Manchester Metropolitan University.
The event will take place on Monday 11 February between 10.30am and 4pm, at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, All Saints Campus, Oxford Road, Manchester M15 6BH.
PRCA North West Group chairman Sandy Lindsay – also Group MD of Tangerine PR - said: “The PRCA is hosting a day of advice, insight and opportunity for PR students across the country. Industry experts will be focusing on topics such as breaking into the industry, career development and how to create, tactically deliver and evaluate award-winning campaigns.”
With numerous practitioners exhibiting and attending during the day, this is an opportunity for students and graduates to network with influential figures from the industry and pick up invaluable guidance from potential employers.
Speakers will include Sandy Lindsay, BDB's Head of PR Alison Owen, Pelican PR Director Cheryl Bennett and Havas PR Managing Director Brian Beech. Also account handlers will be sharing their recent experiences of joining PR consultancies.
