Three point quality promise for PRCA training

28 May 2012 - A brand new standard of training for PR professionals was launched today by industry body PRCA. The new three point training quality promise for 2012 includes: marking trainers on a wide range of criteria; guaranteeing course expectations; and new innovative ways to evaluate course content.

Attendees are promised that:

1. The average feedback score given by delegates on each course will be displayed publicly on the new PRCA training website within 24 hours of the course being completed. The PRCA will use testimonials from in-house and agency teams to evaluate all of the PRCA’s courses. The results will be displayed on the new PRCA training website.

2. If any PRCA trainer scores below 8/10 twice in a year, the trainer’s PRCA approved status will be reviewed

3. The attendee will receive a free webinar course if they are not satisfied by the learning outcomes of the training –based on the course not meeting the description on the new PRCA website and training brochure.

Trainers will be marked out of ten on the following categories: trainer knowledge, the content of the course, relevance of the case studies, and the overall experience of attending a session.

Francis Ingham, PRCA Chief Executive said: “We are very proud of our training courses and the valuable opportunities offered by them.

“By introducing the three point quality promise, we can show our members and non-members that we take their professional development very seriously and are committed to helping them make the best of their careers.”

Jessica Lobendhan, Director of Training and Development said: “Encouraging agency and in-house PR professionals to rate training sessions through the new PRCA training blog, Facebook page and vodcasts is a fantastic new step.

“This will provide invaluable knowledge to the PRCA training department –essential to ensuring that we continue to offer the very best and most up to date courses according to demand.”
