PRCA appoints managers for Find A PR Agency service and member recruitment

London, 21 November 2008 - The PRCA today announced that it has appointed two new members of staff. David Ding has joined as Client Services Manager and Veronica Newson has joined as New Memberships Recruitment Manager . David and Veronica will take over the role previously held by Wendy Richmond who recently moved to the Fifteen Foundation, established by Jamie Oliver.
Francis Ingham, PRCA Director General said “The PRCA has grown by a third this year and business leads referred to members are up 85%. Making the Find A PR Agency management role a full time is a reflection of the success the service has had over the last twelve months and our committment to growing it further."

About David Ding
David has a strong track record in business development and online marketing. He has previously worked for Marketing Week, ITN / ITV Digital, the CIPR and most recently managed client services at the search agency, Weboptimiser Media. His understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and online marketing compliments the growth strategy for FAPRA, the PRCA's Find A PR Agency service. He has worked both agency and client side on pitch processes and has extensive business development experience.
About Veronica Newson
Veronica Newson is a marketing services consultant with over twenty years experience in integrated marketing, media relations, business development, NPD and brand positioning. Her successful B2B and B2C experience includes, broadcast, technology, financial services, pharmaceutical, automotive, luxury brands and services and the voluntary sector for clients such as Siemens, DuPont, Land Rover, Global Action Plan, IBC, SAP and Microsoft. Veronica is working part-time for the PRCA supporting its strategy to build awareness and increase membership of the PRCA.
