About Threepipe Communications

Who We Are:

We're a creative communications agency, established in 2004, based in London and 100% independent.

We use genuine insight to develop creative campaigns that enable our clients to connect with their audiences through editorial coverage, social media and branded experiences.

With our name inspired by one of the world's most insightful and creative minds (none other than Sherlock Holmes), we avoid the obvious, the simple and the tried-and-tested in favour of the original, the imaginative and the impactful.

What We Do:

We help brands and organisations to connect with people.

We bring together powerful insight, intelligent planning and inspired creativity to help our clients connect with their audiences in many different ways, including:

•Earned media:
Positive editorial coverage (whether it's in print, online or broadcast) is still one of the most powerful and effective ways to reach, engage and influence any audience. We specialise in using our contacts, creativity and expertise to deliver the right messages in the right media to reach the right audience.

•Social media:
We have many years of experience working with clients to create content, build fan communities, engage consumers and create brand advocates across all of the social media platforms, integrating fully with more traditional PR campaigns.

•Experiences:
We can create and deliver events, experiences, stunts and a host of other creative tactics, connecting directly with the audience and generating content for social media and traditional PR coverage.

•Reputation: We are highly skilled and experienced in enhancing, managing and protecting the reputation of brands and organisations through proactive media engagement, social media monitoring and crisis planning and response.

We work across the consumer and corporate landscape, from globally renowned corporations to leading niche brands.

Alongside our core focus of helping consumer brands to connect with their audiences, we also have three specialist divisions:

•Threepipe Unlimited:
Bringing creativity and social media know-how to the word of corporate communications

•3d:
Helping clients to develop and implement social media engagement strategies to connect with their audiences

•Threepipe Sport:
Dedicated to working with brands connected to sport

How We Work:

Every client is overseen directly by one of the directors, ensuring a high standard or quality and commitment on each piece of work.

On a day to day basis, each piece of business is led by an associate director or account director, supported by a team comprising of account managers, account executives and juniors, with regular input from our creative, planning and social media specialists, when required.

Each client is given one key point of contact to liaise with, although all members of the team are available to give advice and counsel.

Clear objectives, deliverables and outcomes are set and agreed at the beginning of each campaign, aligned as closely as possible to tangible business benefits for the client. Progress against these objectives is reviewed constantly, with formal reporting done on a weekly, monthly and six monthly basis, alongside day to day contact.

We ask for quarterly “health-checks” between a director and a senior client representative, to ensure that we are providing a good service and adding value. We also schedule six-monthly “big picture” sessions where various members of the agency and the client get together for a strategic and creative review, to ensure we constantly innovate and seek new opportunities.

Budgets and fees are all agreed in advance, with any changes agreed in writing by the client.
