PRCA Frontline Unmissable Summer Boat Party
Over 180 PR professionals boarded a boat on the Thames Tuesday night for the inaugural PRCA Frontline Unmissable Summer Boat Party.
Sponsored by Unmissable, Research Bods, and Markettiers4dc, the Erasmus sailed guests past some of the Capital’s most iconic sights as well as some more recent additions including the Olympic rings at Tower Bridge and the new Thames Cable Car. Guests were treated to a barbeque, open air networking on the top deck, a live set from acoustic duo, Curious Jules, and disco complete with 90’s classics.
Leah Bryant, Frontline Chair and Consultant at Grayling, said: “There’s a definite fever about the capital as we approach the Olympics and it provided the perfect backdrop for the boat party. Frontline is all about supporting young PR professionals and events like these give us an opportunity to get them out of the office and meeting each other. A big thank you to our sponsors and the many people that joined us on board to make it a truly unmissable night..”
Chief Executive of the PRCA, Francis Ingham said: “My concern at being trapped on a boat for four hours was quickly forgotten when I saw how much fun everyone was having, and when I got the chance to talk to a range of our younger members. It was certainly different from my usual lunches!”
