PRCA launches international membership

PRESS RELEASE

The PRCA today launched International Membership for leading agency and in-house communications teams. The new membership offer provides many of the benefits available to the Association's existing agency and in-house members but is tailored specifically to organisations outside the UK. The first members to join are Best, WorldCom, Geelmuyden Kiese, Viewpoint and Boman PR.

On making the announcement, the PRCA's head of public affairs and international relations, Mark Ramsdale, said

“The UK has one of the best established and most vibrant PR markets in the world.  It is one of the few true international communications hubs.  Our members are committed to sharing ideas and raising standards in the industry through demonstrating the value of communications, exploring best practice, reducing costs and increasing collaboration. The new offering has been driven by PR and communications teams outside the UK wanting better links with the PRCA and its members, as much as by our members themselves.”

As well as providing access to a global communications network, leadership panels and best practice case studies, the PRCA's international offer delivers a number of benefits including discounted online training, attendance at the PRCA's annual conference and awards as well as strategic tools such as business matching, market insight and benchmarking data.

Finally, for any members visiting London, PRCA International Members can use the English Speaking Union's prestigious Dartmouth House in the heart of Mayfair, be it for work or for pleasure.
