An overview of the state of influencer relations; a viewpoint on what it’s like to be on the other side receiving PR approaches; and some best practice insights and takeaways to finish. With 18 years in the media industry as PR, technology journalist, blogger and digital strategist, Chris brings a tried and tested integrated vision to communications.

Working with Influencers panel debate

Chaired by Danny Whatmough MPRCA, PRCA Digital Group Chairman and Head of Social, EMEA at Weber Shandwick

Danny will consider the challenges in putting together an influencer strategy, selling it into the business and then executing a campaign. He will speak to Jon Riley, Project Director at the Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) about the importance of being open and honest with consumers and best practice. Alongside the CMA, Danny will speak to marketers that have been involved in running influencer programmes to uncover their key learnings.
