Paul Nelson, World Travel Market Portfolio Press and PR Manager:

Paul works on press and communications for the World Travel Market portfolio which includes; Arabian Travel ;Market, WTM Latin America and WTM Africa. Previously a travel journalist for Travel Weekly, Paul has been working in the travel industry and on events and exhibitions for more than 13 years. Paul will be able to share his unique insight into how PR opportunities can be maximised at events like WTM.  

Lottie Gross, Web Editor of RoughGuides.com

Lottie Gross is the Web Edit of RoughGuides.com, the online companion to over 200 travel titles. Her role includes editing, commissioning, planning and writing features as well as managing the social media channels. 

The Rough Guides website set the travel agenda in January this year with their widely read and shared Rough Guide to 2016, which detailed the top 10 countries, top 10 cities and top 10 regions for the following 12 months, and are currently working on compiling their 2017 list.

Lottie will offer insight into what journalists and editors are looking to get out of travel events, and how to ensure your press materials are most relevant for media.

With over 15 years’ experience in broadcast PR. One of the sectors Darren really enjoys working in is travel. He's always looking at ways to structure broadcast solutions, video, TV and radio so they are bespoke, integral and a dependant function to all travel related projects that he works on. Darren has also personally worked with the World Travel Market PR team for many years which he still thoroughly enjoys it year after year. 4mediarelations are once again the official broadcast PR partner for WTM 2016.

Regarded as one of the travel industry’s brightest stars (he was named in PR Week’s ‘top 30 under 30 2015’), Frank has been behind numerous world-class campaigns. He has since garnered a reputation for transforming tourism businesses and destinations by working closely with them to identify their individual needs. Frank has been behind a range of successful product launches, communication strategies and campaigns for the World Travel Market and other exhibitions. Frank is extremely passionate about travel and lifestyle PR and has spent a term guest lecturing on the topic at Regent’s University.

Steve Robertshaw, PR Manager at VisitSweden:

Steve is passionate about all things Swedish and encouraging others to appreciate their fabulous lifestyle and natural environment, so he is lucky enough to work as PR Manager at Visit Sweden in the UK.  Traveller and all round good egg Steve has spent his life in communications, primarily in the charity sector, with a three year break as Head of Centre at an outdoor centre.
