Midlands Group - Round Table
Overview
Midlands Group Event
Description
At the PRCA’s recent Future of PR conference, there was much discussion around resource. There are many current issues up for debate: the likelihood of more consultancies adopting the ad agency model; the dilemma around reducing permanent staff numbers to better reflect the increase in project work and the corresponding reduction in monthly fee commissions; the challenges of working with 'virtual' colleagues from a team and client perspective; the apprenticeship scheme and how can we make it work outside London; PR degrees; to name but a few hot topics!
The Midlands PRCA is holding a round table event at Opus on Cornwall Street in Birmingham, on Thursday, 21st February from 6pm to 8pm to thrash out the pros and cons of all the options and to see which trends are emerging as far as the region is concerned. Clive has arranged for the talent director from Golin Harris and freelancer Rachel Roberts to join us – it will hopefully be a lively discussion, especially as the Chatham House rule will apply.
Our PRCA HQ colleagues are providing refreshments – thank you very much - so it is free of charge to members.
Thanks to those of you who have responded already. Registration is simple, just email Bron Eames at bron@htpr.com or Clive Reeves at clive@clivereeves.com.
