PRCA chairman challenges thinking around the “glass ceiling”
ANNOUNCEMENT
Speaking at Think 2011 Sally Costerton, PRCA Chairman and CEO of Hill & Knowlton EMEA, will today challenge women to consider whether they use the “glass ceiling” as an excuse not to achieve their potential.
Using herself as an example, Mrs Costerton, a mother of two, will highlight that not only are women both highly successful and well represented in the senior echelons of the PR industry, but that they are also able to balance the commitments of career, family and social life if they so choose. Her comments are supported by figures from the PRCA benchmarking survey which highlights the male to female ratio of managing directors in the industry is 0.8 : 1.0.
Think 2011 is taking place from 08.30 until 16.30 on Thursday 12 May at the British Library with a line up of speakers designed to challenge traditional thinking within the PR industry.
