Cannes Lions Festival Competition

Cannes Lions is a festival of creativity, and want to see how creative you can be!

WE has a once in a lifetime opportunity and would like to extend to the students you work with. For the second year in a row, they are hosting a gameshow at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and are launching a competition to find the most creative, dynamic future comms leaders. One winner will join WE in the South of France and on-stage for our gameshow. "News Makers or News Fakers."

Sharing the stage with influencers and star communicators will be a great experience, but just as importantly, the winner will get the chance to meet top agency leadership from all over the wold, drink rose with the creative people on the croisette and witness the best work from all over the world.

What you'll win:

  • An all-expenses paid trip to Cannes, France, for five days, including entry to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (June 17-21) - a total value worth more than USD$6,000
  • The opportunity to build your personal platform, meet influencers and collaborate on content with some of the best and brightest minds in the industry
  • The chance to travel with and learn from WE global executives and communications veterans
  • A sport on WE's Cannes Lion game show, "News Makers or News Fakers"

How to enter the competition:

  • A two-page written statement (250-300 words, PDF) about two brands, one making a positive impact by communicating with purpose, and another that had an opportunity to do so but failed to, and why you think these examples are interesting.
