Why we’re entering the UK’s top regional PR Awards

Rebecca Broomfield MPRCA, Client Services Director, Speed Communications, explains why her team are entering the PRCA DARE Awards again this year.

The PRCA DARE Awards provide an invaluable annual barometer of the state of the industry on a regional level, and in recent years, the story has been highly encouraging.

As the PRCA DARE ‘Large Agency of the Year’ in the South West last year, we know what it takes to win one of these awards, and how valuable a win can be.

Last year we demonstrated what the judging panel were looking for: Strong growth, effective creative campaigns for great clients, and innovation in technology, content, and measurement.

We showed how we supported our happy, healthy team with work-life balance programmes and health, mindfulness and financial management advice for all staff. That’s why 96% of our people said they were proud to work for Speed.

Most of all, we demonstrated that we have happy clients who stay with us for an average of six years, and some for more than 12.

As a highly respected, trusted, independently judged competition for the best PR talent and strategy across six UK regions, the value of a PRCA DARE Awards win is massive.

The final deadline for entries (29th March) is fast approaching, so if you’re an agency with a great story to tell about yourself, our advice is to get involved.
