Summary:

Please join us for the first PRCA Industry vs. Academics event where we will bring together some of the brightest minds from the hallowed halls of academia and the most successful industry leaders, to debate the topic: ‘Is it necessary to have a PR degree?’

Event Type: Member Event

Address: FleishmanHillard Fishburn, Bankside 2, 100 Southwark Street, London, SE1 0SW

Event Overview

The two issues at the heart of the debate are that PR academics feel ignored by the industry and practitioners are not convinced that PR degrees are adequate preparation for a career in the industry. The lively panel will explore main issues of integration, and how to work more closely to build better relationships between academia and the industry.

Chairman

Stephen Waddington, Partner and Chief Engagement Officer, Ketchum
