Event Overview

Fundraising needs to be at the heart of charity and not-for-profit marketing and PR, but in many organisations the two disciplines are seen as separate.

In addition, the recent report by the Commission on the Donor Experience found almost a quarter of the public had a bad experience of fundraising meaning fundraisers need to work closely with communications teams to restore the reputation of their work.

This panel debate will examine how the two disciplines can work more closely together and how the recommendations from the Commission on the Donor Experience can be implemented in practice.

Simon Francis CMPRCA, Chair of PRCA’s Charity Group (based in Edinburgh) will chair the event and will be joined by Richard Spencer from the Commission alongside Ann Rowe, head of Communications and Marketing at SCVO and Clare Cogan Turner, Communications Manager from Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland.

Join us for an engaging evening followed by drinks and networking. Numbers are limited, so book your place today!

If you have any quereies, please contact Wilma Littlejohn CMPRCA, National Coordinator, PRCA Scotland.

This event is worth 15 points in the PRCA CPD scheme
