PRCA NextGen London Group event – How to Roar like a Cannes Lion

Event Overview

Every year the Cannes Young Lions Competition challenges PR professionals aged 30 and under to imagine a creative solution to a brief. The teams have 24 hours from brief reception to inception and the competition sees some of the most creatively talented individuals, from some of the industry's leading agencies, go head to head to create and present their campaign to a panel of judges. We are therefore delighted to be joined by Laura Bishop, Talent and Training Manager, and Steve Latham, Head of Talent, from Cannes Lions, who will give attendees insight into the finer details of the competition. Also speaking about their time at the festival are The Romans' Jack Davy MPRCA and Ottillie Ratcliffe MPRCA, winners of Silver at the Cannes Young Lions PR Competition in 2017. We will also be joined by Blair Metcalfe CMPRCA, head judge of the Cannes Young Lions PR Competition 2017.

The winning twosome will present their winning entry, while the event as a whole will look to explore themes such as creativity under pressure, what makes a good idea, the ideation process and answering briefs in the most dynamic way possible.
