Event Overview

AI is rapidly disrupting employment by automating tasks and changing the shape of jobs. While AI is most often associated with low-skilled jobs, it is also being applied to core aspects of PR, including content development, planning and even media relations And it is directly impacting how HR is managed and delivered. But how many business leaders and HR teams in PR have a plan to harness the potential of AI?

In PR’s notoriously competitive talent market, where a lack of skills is holding businesses back and where many practitioners feel stretched and overloaded, we know that we need to innovate. How can AI help us work faster and smarter, make jobs in PR more strategic and rewarding and allow businesses to create greater value? What are businesses doing with AI today, and when will we see wide scale change? What should we be doing to prepare, and what will AI mean both for people working in PR today and for the HR teams and leaders planning their future workforce? What skills will become obsolete, and what new skills will we need?
