Event Overview
The PRCA Entrepreneur Group launched its Talking Heads series in which Group members will hear from the best entrepreneurs in the business. In this ‘In Conversation with’ event from the PRCA Entrepreneur Group, Paul Cockerton MPRCA answers: what is an entrepreneur? How can you start your own business? And will it work?
Drawing from his experience of start-ups, company launches, and exits, including a company that Bill Gates once named as his ‘no.1 enemy’, Paul will talk about what it means to be an entrepreneur in everyday life and why it’s more of a mindset and approach rather than having the world’s best idea. Paul was a founding member of Symbian, that created the world’s first smartphone, founded Any Question Answered, a tech start up in 2004 that grew rapidly to answer millions of questions in a year, and Dynamo, which has won multiple awards for its culture and approach, including best PR company to work for (twice), and ethical champion.
This event is worth 15 points in the PRCA CPD programme.
