Event Overview

Ensuring PR and communications works seamlessly with fundraising is often described as the holy grail of charity-sector PR. But getting the two disciplines to work well together can often be challenging.

In this panel discussion we will hear from successful campaigners who have managed to find the Holy Grail. In addition to examples of best practice, the expert panel will discuss the latest issues in charity communications and build on the discussion on the donor experience which PRCA Scotland hosted last year.

The event Chair will be Simon Francis CMPRCA. Simon has worked in communications for over 18 years and led high profile integrated campaigns for Engineering UK and England’s Department for Education. Further experience includes running campaigns for Brathay Trust, Power To Change and Project Syndicate. He co-authored the Freedom To Campaign Guide to the Lobbying Act.

Simon is Chairman of the PRCA Charity a& Not for Profit Group, Chair of the PR Apprenticeships Trailblazer, and the Association of Colleges Trustee.

This event is worth 15 points in the PRCA CPD programme.
