Event Overview

As we draw a line under the trials and successes of 2018, it’s time to look to the future. The PR industry never stands still for long, so it's vital to stay on top of the latest trends.

In light of this, and the recently released PRCA Digital Communications and PR report, the NextGen London Group will be hosting a masterclass on ‘Insights to advance your career in 2019’.

On the 13th of December, the NextGen London Group will be hosting a masterclass with experts across digital, social, content and influencer marketing, to discuss the trends of 2018 and how up-and-coming PR professionals can leverage these insights in the year ahead.

Insights from industry experts:

  • Steve Dunne FPRCA: CEO of Digital Drums Ltd. and PRCA PR & marketing trainer. Digital Drums has advised companies such as Virgin Atlantic, Dorothy Perkins, Arcadia Plc, and The Hospital Group Plc, on their digital PR presence. With over 30 years’ experience, Dunne has held senior PR roles in British Telecom, HSBC, and South African Airways, as well as being a Director and Board Member of a range of PR consultancies.
  • Cathy White: Cathy is the Founder & Director CEW Communications, an agency specialising in communications for tech startups. This year she was listed in the Drum’s 50 under 30, a celebration of top young female talent. Prior to CEW Communications, Cathy was Head of Communications for Tech City UK, and early-stage VC Seedcamp. She was recognised as a PR Week Rising Star in 2014 whilst a Senior Account Manager at Albion Drive (now KBS Albion).

  • Micaela Maciel: Mica is Content and Publishing Strategist at H+K Strategies. Having worked at H+K Strategies for the past two years, Micaela's background is in fashion & luxury-lifestyle, FMCG, social good, behaviour change, and health. Her clients include Oreo, Campari, Häagen-Dazs, and Schwartz.
