Event Overview
In 2018, PRCA Director General, Francis Ingham boldly stated that there is a lot more we can and must do to improve diversity in PR. With a consensus that diversity and inclusion must improve in the industry, where can you a make difference in your organisation, no matter what level you are?
Organised by the NextGen Midlands Group, 'Where are all the role models?' will give attendees the opportunity to speak to the trailblazers within PR who are championing diversity across gender, race and sexuality. With a lack of representation for particular communities in the industry, speakers will offer advice on where you can turn to find your own role model or how you could become one yourself for future PROs.
The event will feature talks from each speaker about their own experiences. This will be followed by a Q&A where attendees will be invited to ask the panel their own questions.
This event is open to people at all stages of their career in communications, even if they are yet to start it.
