Event Overview

Join PRCA NI for a masterclass in how behaviour change theory and tactics can make us better communicators.  Giving us their expert view will be Ben Caspersz, Founder & Managing Director of Claremont,  a multi award-winning behaviour change communications agency in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those working in charities, not-for-profit organisations and all PR and communications practitioners as we provide the perfect opportunity for all to network, discuss the latest issues in charity communications and social marketing and share insight in a relaxed environment.

Founded in 2009, Claremont is at the forefront of developing technologies and techniques in communication and has worked with government, big brands and charities including Cabinet Office, National Audit Office, Department of Health, Department for Education, Mind, Alzheimer’s Society, MS Society, the European Commission and the Mayor of London.

Ben regularly gives talks on the use of behavioural insights to effect change through social marketing.  He recently worked with Save The Children in East Belfast to develop the Wonder Words campaign using a co-design approach with a group of mums. The results have been spectacular - a ground-breaking new campaign for the children of Northern Ireland created by mums for mums - which Ben will be taking us through in his talk.

After an introduction to top tips and best practice in behaviour change and "nudge" theory, there will be an open discussion hosted by Rachel Burgoyne, Marketing and Communications Manager at Cancer Fund for Children.

This event is worth 15 points in the PRCA CPD Programme.
