This course is aimed at PR practitioners who would like to improve their presentation skills.

What attendees will learn
The course aims to introduce students to a range of tools and techniques necessary to pitch and present confidently, including:

  • How to plan for a presentation
  • How to structure a speech or presentation
  • How to speak during a presentation ( including the use of signposts and visual aids)
  • How to handle questions
  • How to manage nerves

Course Requirements
Delegates must bring a 5 minute  presentation ( on a memory stick, plus hard copy incase of problems) to the course to present and improve upon during the morning –it can be about business or any subject that interests you.
Delegates will be expected to present in front of other delegates and the tutor, and to critique their own and other delegates’ presentations.
To ensure that all delegates receive personal feedback on their work, this course is limited to just six delegates.

Materials
Each student is given a course workbook at the start of the course containing all the key learning and exercises. This is completed during the course and then taken away by the student for future reference.
