Event Overview

Work-life balance has taken a battering in 2020 and by all account women bore the brunt of it. As we look to ‘build back better’ we need to ensure that workplace equality is available for all. Aceil Haddad, is joint Head of PR for leading campaigning organisation Pregnant Then Screwed. She will highlight some of those issues and provide practical, easily applicable, steps to ensuring a fairer working life for all parents.

Aceil Haddad is joint head of PR for Pregnant Then Screwed and has been involved since 2017. Pregnant Then Screwed is a charity dedicated to ending the motherhood penalty, lobbying on issues such as; maternity discrimination, flexible working, childcare. Since the pandemic it has been pivotal in highlighting the impact of the pandemic of women and parents.

Outside of her role, Aceil Haddad is also the founder of MATT PR working with a variety of clients in the property, sustainability and infrastructure space.

The event is organised by the PRCA council as part of the Accessibility and Inclusion workstream and will be chaired by the stream lead Tas Bhanji, Director at Blakeney.
