Event Overview

What next for the PRCA's Strategy Group?

In February, the PRCA launched a new Strategy Group - led by Don’t Cry Wolf Founder John Brown – to deliver guidance and support to PR professionals in the fight against climate misinformation.

Since then, the group have undertaken two research studies in partnership with Opinium and have submitted a bid to promote the importance of ethical communication at the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26).

Join us at 1pm (BST) on Tuesday 11th May to find out more about the group's workplan and how you can support the industry's fight against Climate Misinformation. This will be an informal discussion and a chance to ask questions ahead of the publication of the Strategy Group's new research exploring the role and responsibilities of PR professionals in the climate crisis.

We'll be joined by group members:

- John Brown, Don't Cry Wolf
- Teela Clayton, Intent Health
- Simon Francis, Campaign Collective
- David Gallagher, Omnicom PR Group
- Laura Sutherland, Aura PR

Zoom links will be sent out to all attendees 24 hours prior to the event start time. If you sign up after this time, please contact koray.camgoz@prca.org.uk for the link.

This event is worth 15 points in the PRCA CPD Programme.
