Event Overview

Sport unites and divides us; it defines our tribes, and entertains billions across the globe every day. We enthusiastically consume the latest news from our teams and our competitors across the back pages, TV and social media, but what do we know about the professional communicators who manage these stories on behalf of the elite performers, institutions and teams?

Join the PRCA Scotland and an incredible panel of experts in a discussion about sports communications in 2021.

We'll be joined by:

Toby Craig, Director of Corporate and Commercial Communications, City Football Group

Toby oversees all non-football communications globally for City Football Group, the world’s leading private owner and operator of football clubs, with total or partial ownership of 10 clubs in major cities across the world, including Premier League Champions Manchester City. With offices around the world, CFG also invests in other football related businesses and projects and serves as a global commercial platform for its partners, whilst fulfilling its vision of using football for social good on a local and global scale through its clubs’ charities, foundations and other CSR initiatives.

A non-practising barrister, Toby has extensive experience in sport, media, entertainment, technology and professional services marketing and communications. He was part of Leaders in Sport, Leader Under 40, Class of 2018, named in PR Week’s ’29 under 29’ in 2010 and nominated for the Public Affairs News ‘Newcomer of the Year’ Award in 2007.
