Emma Hazan

About Emma

Emma Hazan has played a key role in spear-heading the strategic comms for ground-breaking global brands over the last 20 years – taking BlackBerry out of the boardroom and into the hands of the consumer, launching the first iPhone in the UK and taking both GoPro and Shazam from fledgling start-ups to household names and then onto successful IPO or acquisition. She even made Hostelworld’s collaboration with Mariah Carey go viral.

She has worked for some of the best PR agencies in the business including LEWIS PR, The Academy (formerly Shine Communications) and lastly Hotwire, where she was the Global Head of Consumer, responsible for leading the global consumer teams across seven markets – resulting in multiple industry campaign awards and doubling the global consumer revenues for the agency over a three-year period.

She authored Hotwire’s global thought leadership study on Generation Alpha which has been quoted in the media over 70 times and resulted in Emma becoming a regular feature on the speaker circuit at both brand and industry events and conferences including Retail Week, CommsCon and 48Forward.

Emma now runs Sidekick Comms - an agency she founded in 2019, dedicated to helping brands achieve their PR & Communications goals.
