Angela Casey MCIPR – Managing Director
A former assistant to two government ministers in the mid-eighties, Angela Casey has unparalleled experience in Scotland, having worked in PR and public affairs in Westminster, Brussels and Scotland for over 25 years. She has practical experience of politics and corporate affairs at local, national and international levels both from a business and campaigning perspective.

She has advised many public sector and private organisations on their external communications and is an expert in corporate and crisis communications as well as tourism and campaigning. Her public sector expertise includes: Glasgow Development Agency; Midlothian Council; advising the board of SAC (Scottish Agricultural College) through a difficult time of restructuring; the Energy Saving Trust, the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, VisitScotland, Transport Initiatives Edinburgh and the Forth Road Bridge.

Angela advised London Luton Airport on public affairs and public relations in the UK and Europe throughout a time of expansion and change for the Airport. She has also worked with Alcan, Reliance, bmi british midland and Hewlett Packard as well as working with a number of developers on planning and issues around building new towns. With wide experience in professional service PR she worked for many years with law firm Fyfe Ireland and headed the team managing PR for Baker Tilly after their buyout from HLB Kidsons. She also worked with Active Corporate Accountants, MLM Insolvency and ASA Recruitment, bringing seniority to professional service communications. She heads the teams working within the construction sector, having advised Stewart Milne Group divisions and head office, she also works for the Structural Timber Association on strategy and implementation.

The range of clients Angela has advised within the tourism sector demonstrates her role as one of the most qualified tourism communications practitioners in Scotland. She has worked with luxury hotels including Ardanaiseig; the Roxburghe, Kelso; Edinburgh’s former Royal Terrace Hotel; and the Fairmont St Andrew’s. She has also worked with Floors Castle and the Roxburghe Estate; Camera Obscura & World of Illusions; the Scotch Whisky Experience; the Majestic Line; the Scottish Seabird Centre; Edinburgh Zoo; and she led the team for VisitScotland over eight years.

Widely connected within Scotland’s business world, Angela is a former Convenor of ASPA (Association for Scottish Public Affairs); she is immediate past Chairman of the Scottish PRCA (Public Relations Consultants’ Association) and she held a non-exec role on the IoD Scotland Committee, working with business leaders on the IoD strategy and communications. She is a non-executive director of CricketScotland.
