Training Theory

"The training on finance aims to give delegates enough tools in their armour to better understand finance and be able to deal with finance related questions that their clients, procurement or colleagues might ask them. It hopefully demystifies some of the terminology and makes the subject feel more accessible."


Before joining Kingston Smith, Peter spent 12 years at Grant Thornton, providing commercial advice, audit, accounting and financial reporting services to businesses in the creative sector, as well as the leisure and technology sectors. Working with businesses ranging in size from start-ups to listed companies with international interests, Peter has supported clients through all stages of their life cycle, taking an active interest in their advancement and helping them towards achieving their aspirations. With such a broad portfolio within the media industry, his experience also includes international audits, as well as working with private equity backed businesses. Peter is also a committee member of the ICAEW entertainment and media group and treasurer of the DMA.
