Learning Objectives:
Learners will be able to demonstrate an understanding of PR in context, writing skills, and creative thinking. This will be presented in a portfolio of evidence.
Training:
Training will comprise of a set of core units and a set of optional units. Selected units must total 150 points, with full day classroom courses worth 40 points, and webinars worth 10 points.
Core units (110 Points):
- Ethics in PR and Communications
- Introduction to PR/Planning a Strategic PR Campaign
- Building Effective Persuading and Influencing Skills
- How to Manage Your Time and Workload More Effectively
- Good Media Relations
Optional units – 40 points from a curated collection
To complete the learning objectives, learners will produce a portfolio of self-development throughout their formal training. The aim is to showcase development as an effective PR practitioner. This portfolio will contain:
- Personal review
- Training analysis
