VIRTUAL EVENT: PRCA Public Sector Group: Managing the communications response to the crisis and the challenge to public sector comms teams

Event Overview

Covid 19 has changed or accelerated the change of working practices for many. The impact on the public sector is even more pronounced where vital services must be delivered but in different ways.

As leaders in public sector communications, we are learning to be even more agile and respond to the crisis from leading and managing virtual teams to ensuring communications continues with the public and staff.

In this workshop, we will hear two examples of how public sector communication teams have responded – one from a local authority and the other from a NHS Trust.

Speakers include the Chair of the PRCA Public Sector Group, Marcus Chrysostomou, and the Vice Chair, Carrie-Anne Wade.

Marcus is a Senior Account Director at public sector agency Westco Communications, where he is working with Havering Council as their Head of Communications.

Carrie-Ann Wade is the Director of communications and engagement at NELFT NHS Trust.
