The PR Apprenticeship is a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Public Relations, equivalent to the first year of a degree. Apprentices are employed by a PR and Communications agency or in-house PR team. They work full time for 15 months whilst completing on-the-job training and assessments.

Each PR Apprentice is assigned an assessor by PRCA who visits them once per month, sets and structures their work, and provides on-going support. All PR Apprentices are paid at least the national minimum wage (between £10,000 and £13,000 per year) but usually more.

At the end of the apprenticeship, 85% of PR Apprentices stay on in their organisation and 93% continue their career in PR.

Employers

The average Apprenticeship increases business productivity by £214 per week, with these gains including increased profits, lower prices and better products. Find out how PRCA Apprenticeships can help your bottom line.
