The PRCA’s Global COVID-19 Communications Taskforce was launched in March 2020 to provide practical support to public relations professionals during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Its purpose is provide senior practitioner support to peers, in organisations and consultancies across the world, through targeted personal advice during the crisis.
Chaired by Lansons Chief Executive and Co-founder Tony Langham, the Taskforce is comprised of around 100 highly experienced communications leaders from across the world. Tony is supported by Deputy Chairs, Rod Cartwright and Rachel Friend.
How to recover fast from the Pandemic: Lessons from communications leaders
PRCA COVID-19 Taskforce Chairman Tony Langham has led a global project gathering best advice from communications leaders across the world. In total 74 contributions from 21 countries were received and the report, including all contributions in full is available here. Support for Communications Leaders in partnership with EACD, ICCO, IPRA, PRHK, IABC EMENA and PRCA Malaysia
On Thursday, 9 April the Taskforce partnered with a range of international associations to provide communications leaders with free advice on how to manage consultancies and in-house teams through the COVID-19 crisis.
The service connects Taskforce advisors with communications leaders seeking help. Advisors are available provide free, impartial and practical support in 30-minute consultations to professionals around the world.
The CV-19 Taskforce is comprised of highly experienced consultancy owners and communications professionals, adept at managing agencies and organisations through crises.
All consultations will be treated with the strictest confidence and all advisors have signed non-disclosure agreements.
