We represented the UK PR and communications industry during the reviews of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 by the Labour Party and the Independent Commission.
We defended the industry’s position against calls the for the Act to be limited and gave face-to-face evidence at the final session of Labour’s own Review of the Act, speaking alongside Lord Beith, the Scottish Information Commissioner and the NVCO. The Review was chaired by Tom Watson MP and Louise Haigh MP, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party and Shadow Cabinet Office Minister respectively.
