roles where he is a resource for businesses looking to grow and innovate, as well as for

academic institutions seeking to bridge the gap between academia and the business world.

 

Global Experience: Iain has lived and worked in multiple countries, including the UK, North

America, Australia, and Hong Kong, which has given him a global perspective on business and entrepreneurship. He presently resides in London, UK.

 

Founder of THE Worldwide Partners: As one of the founders of THE Worldwide Partners, he works closely with a variety of businesses, offering deep input, pragmatic advice, and mentorship across different sectors, from tech start-ups (med-tech, fin-tech, etc) to established SMEs.

 

Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Actively involved in the world of innovation and entrepreneurship. Iain undertakes a range of advisory work with different groups. He works with

the University of Leeds for the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Business Engagement & Enterprise, as Advisor

and Mentor to Nexus, and as Lead Coach for the Michael Beverley Innovation Fellowship programme. Separately, he is also an advisor with Catalysis Advisory working on pre-deal management due diligence for investors.

 

Mentorship and Education: Iain is deeply engaged in mentorship and education and has worked with Imperial College Enterprise Lab as Marketing Expert-in-Residence since 2018, also the UCL Hatchery Program, Business France, and more. His involvement as an approved Business Mentor

for the government-funded Help to Grow: Management and Small Business Britain programmes underscores his commitment to helping small-medium sized businesses.

 

Academic Collaborations: His collaborative work with universities including Imperial College, Brunel Business School, London Metropolitan University, and Leeds University Business School fulfils his focus on building connections between academia and the business world.

 

Panel Participation: Iain’s support of a range of university-led programmes, such as the Bridge, Fuel, and Spark Programme initiatives at Oxford Brookes University, reflects his willingness to share expertise and insights with the academic community.

Focus was to elicit employee sentiment about preparedness of automation, time usage, productivity, and opportunities for streamlining from productivity and employee satisfaction perspectives. Reviewed local quantitative studies, crystallised relevant data, and presented findings and recommendations at a global workshop. • Mentored four SLT members.
