Location

Details

Summary:

Demand for international education round the world keeps on growing. Schools are looking outside their own countries for ideas to develop their curriculum, and students are hoping to win places on degree courses abroad.

Cambridge International Examinations works with 10,000 schools in over 160 countries to prepare school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. It's a not-for-profit organisation and part of Cambridge Assessment, a division of the University of Cambridge.

Promoting Cambridge qualifications – such as Cambridge IGCSE and International A Level - to schools is complex but compelling work. What works in India doesn’t necessarily work in the US or China. Education is a complex environment in each country, bringing together interests of parents and students, schools and universities, employers and politicians.

How do you go about organising marketing efforts to secondary schools outside the UK? How can you be using social media? How do you work with your teams in other countries? When do you standardise your communications, and when do you localise them? This session will look at these challenges, and draw out some lessons learned.
