About Tony


Tony co-founded strategic reputation management consultancy Lansons in 1989 and retains an active consultancy role with Governments, organisations and companies. In the 1980s he worked in financial communications at Dewe Rogerson having started his career in political and social market research at MORI.

He is Chairman of Great British Racing, horse racing’s official marketing and promotional body and also of the QIPCO British Champions Series, including QIPCO British Champions Day, Britain’s richest raceday. Since 2011 Tony has chaired unbiased.co.uk, the organisation that connects people with the UK’s biggest selection of financial advisers, mortgage brokers, solicitors and accountants.

Tony joined the PRCA Board of Management in 2017. He was a member of the PRCA’s PR and Communications Council, the think tank for the UK PR industry, from 2012-16, and Chairman in 2015, where he ran the ‘economics of reputation’ campaign, which highlighted the impact of reputation on the bottom line. He received the Mark Mellor Outstanding Contribution Award at the PRCA National Awards in 2016.
