Chris joined King's College London, ranked as one of the top 20 universities in the world, as Director of Communications in 1999, and is now the College's Director of Public Engagement. A history graduate, Chris has over 20 years' experience in public relations, and his career has spanned working in a PR consultancy, heading the corporate communications department of an international cancer charity, and that of one of the UK's major teaching hospitals. For several years he was chairman of the PR Directors Committee of the Russell Group, and is British representative to EUPRIO, the European universities PR association. He has spoken on communications issues at a number of conferences around the world. He was elected a Fellow of the PRCA in 2010.
