Event Overview

How do you get to be a winner of an industry award? Of course a great idea needs to be at the heart of the entry but how you structure and write the entry can play a key part in ensuring that your work gets the attention it deserves. Winning an award is always a great way to attract new clients as it brings creditability to the organisation, benchmarks you against your competitors and validates your work.

With the entry deadline for the DARE Awards  approaching on 16 March, we provide some real insights for what is needed to write a winning PR award entry.

Find out how to:

  • structure your award entry
  • be creative in writing the entry
  • think like a judge - tips on what the judges are looking for
  • appeal to a time-poor reader, and
  • lots, lots more.

To help you understand what success looks like, you will also hear from two of our 2017 DARE Award winners:

  • Citypress Scotland will deliver a case study on their Public Sector Award, and
  • Muckle Media will present a review of its Media Relations Award.

This event is worth 15 points in the PRCA CPD Scheme.
