Event Overview
This meeting provides an opportunity for all public affairs and lobbying practitioners to engage with the regulation just as the Scottish Lobbying Register comes into force. From the 12th March, 2018, all regulated lobbying will need to record details of their activities and the Register will be searchable by anyone.
The aim of the event – our second one with the Scottish Lobbying Register team – is to build on attendees personal and organisational understanding and ensuring that every relevant PRCA member in Scotland is aware of their regulatory obligations.
Similarly, the aim is that consultancy attendees will be able to educate their clients on what constitutes regulated lobbying, the importance of disclosure, and penalties for non-compliance.
There will be a 20 minute presentation and then the majority of this session will be an interactive Q&A.
This event is worth 15 PRCA CPD points.
