Event Type: Member Event

Address: The Place Hotel, Edinburgh, EH1 3HU

Event Overview

Analytics tools that evaluate data to inform, shape and measure campaigns are becoming increasingly important for the communications industry. A number of platforms are becoming available to us and we can expect a rise in their adoption over the coming years. Among them is QUID, a platform developed in Silicon Valley that searches, analyses and visualizes the world’s collective intelligence to help answer strategic questions.

The PRCA is teaming up with QUID and Weber Shandwick to host a live demonstration of QUID. We will evaluate the Brexit conversation, particularly related to some of Scotland’s key industries, asking the following questions:

–       What are the key issues that Scotland’s politicians have been focussing on in the past six months?

–       Have Scotland’s small businesses engaged in the Brexit discussion? If so, what is driving their interest?

  • Will there be an impact on Scotland’s financial, digital and oil & gas sectors?
  • What affect could each of the Brexit outcomes have on Scotland’s farming, food production and whisky industries?
  • And many, many more.

The live demonstration will be discussed and debated by a panel (to be announced shortly) and there will be a short Q&A session at the end.

This event is worth 15 points in the PRCA CPD programme.
