Self-Knowledge, Emotional Intelligence, and Resilience Masterclass

When: : 19th June. 2020

Where: McBeath House, 310 Goswell Rd, London EC1V 7LW

Overview

Is your leadership style built upon a foundation of self-awareness and a knowledge of your own emotional intelligence (EQ)? This new practical and highly interactive masterclass, delivered by two exceptional trainers – Jane Fordham and Clara Wilcox - will super-charge your performance and deliver a personalised blueprint for the long-term resilience and wellbeing of yourself and your team, turning wellness into a strategic enabler.

Social science tells us that even the smallest shots of positivity can give someone a competitive edge. Positive mindsets have been proven to transform engagement and business impact. Self-knowledge, EQ and wellbeing in a leader’s toolkit drives impactful communications, an ability to influence, engage and inspire a team, indeed all stakeholders. With this front of mind, workshop attendees will have the chance to complete an online EQ self-assessment in advance and have a 45 minute feedback session with trainer and ‘TEIque’ practitioner, Jane Fordham.

How will attendees benefit?

In these times where perpetual change is the new norm, organisations and their leaders are engaging in transformation on an unprecedented scale. The old or ‘traditional’ IQ was all about how smart you are. The ‘new IQ’ however is about how smart or effective you make your team, instead of the leader leading from top of the pyramid, they lead from the middle of the circle. Learners will come away from this workshop with a heightened level of self-awareness and associated ability to self-manage. They will also be better equipped to understand, engage with and positively influence the individuals within their circle.

 What attendees will learn?

Part one of the masterclass will;

  • Deliver a foundation to wellbeing and mental health
  • Cover setting boundaries, saying no and managing conflict
  • Explore key stress triggers and review the five pillars of wellbeing
  • Coach individuals the creation of personalised blueprints for wellbeing

In the afternoon attendees will focus on cultivating a culture of resilience by exploring;

  • attitudes to risk, failure and learning
  • leadership loneliness
  • 10-step resilience plan
  • frameworks for organisational wellbeing and resilience
